At Franca we offer most things related to food and drink, but not always. Running a restaurant in a small town has its challenges, and we try to meet the various needs that may arise — but on our own terms. All to give our guests the best possible experience.

We will eventually open for both lunch and dinner, but we are already accepting enquiries for bespoke catering, guest appearances, private events, tastings, courses and more!

Olle is a chef and cookbook author. Originally from Malmö, he has worked in London, Edinburgh, Copenhagen and San Francisco throughout his career.

In 2015, he co-founded Babette in Stockholm — a neighbourhood restaurant whose reputation has spread far beyond Sweden's borders. Babette has been named one of Sweden's best restaurants, holds a Bib Gourmand in the Michelin Guide, and its pizza has been named one of the world's 100 best.

Franca is Olle's first solo restaurant, located in central Borgholm, where Olle and his family have lived since 2022.
